One of the largest auto parts maker in Canada is expected to create 320 jobs in North Carolina in the coming four years. Caldwell and Catawba Counties will be about 140 of those jobs. Magna Composites LLC, received promises of tax breaks in excess of $1.1 million to expand factories in Rowan, Caldwell and Catawba Counties.

The largest of all three auto parts plants will be in Rowan County and is expect to create over 180 jobs. Workers are expected to received an average pay of $30,017 plus health care benefits.
