A non-working or a faulty gas cap is another common problem found out by CarMD and if it is kept un-repaired the cars mileage will be reduced. A yearly calculation shows that around 147 m gallons of pure and expensive fuel can be evaporated just due to a loose or cracked gas cap. If you ignore the O2 sensor or a spark plug you might have to face the issues with Catalytic converters otherwise this is not a problem that can be listed in top 10. Replacing mass air flow sensor

Keeping a regular check on the mass airflow sensor to know about the amount of air supplied to your vehicle engine is very important. With this it is simple to determine the amount of fuel that is to be delivered in to the car engine. The car might perform slower and the fuel economy might be reduced if the MAF sensor is not functioning properly. Malfunctioning of the sensor is possible during summers in dry weather. Replacing the sensor may cost you around $300. You can simply keep them clean by keeping the air filter clean.

Replacing spark plugs

A major issue in spark plug of your car might cost you more than $100 if it is to be replaced completely. This small looking car igniting spark plug is to be replaced after every 30,000-40,000 miles. This can be done from professional mechanics.

With a computerized diagnosis these car issues can be listed and some safety measures can be taken to avoid major repairs.
