Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Remove the wiper arms as described earlier in this section.

Remove the nuts securing the wiper arm shafts.
From inside of the Transporter, remove the mounting fasteners and lower the right-hand side of the parcel tray, located under the dashboard.

Disconnect the wire from the wiper motor, then remove the motor mounting fasteners and pull it out from the body until the wiper linkage can be accessed.

Detach the linkage from the wiper motor, then remove the motor from the vehicle by sliding it out to the right (to clear the linkage arm).
